Easy Chicken Pot Pie

PAULA DEEN'S EASY POT PIE
Chicken Pot Pie is my favorite comfort food. This recipe is simple to make and oh, so yummy!
Ingredients
- 2 (10.75 oz) cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (1 lb) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 3 cups cooked chicken, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups baking mix
- 1/2 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup milk, and seasonings. Stir in vegetables and chicken. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish; set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine baking mix and cheese. Add remaining 1/2 cup milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop biscuits by heaping tablespoons evenly over chicken mixture.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until biscuits are browned and pot pie is hot and bubbly.
