Aunt Lannette’s Family Chili
I loved having my sweet family in town for several days. It warms my heart and feeds my soul. We decided to make the BEST chili recipe from my Volume 1 cookbook. It always is delicious!

THE BEST CHILI
The BEST chili on a cold winter's night. So quick and easy to put together too.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
 - 1 medium onion, diced
 - 2 cans chili beans
 - 1 can pork & beans
 - 1 can baked beans
 - 1 can kidney beans
 - 1 can diced tomatoes
 - 1 can tomato sauce
 - 1/2 jar chili sauce
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1 teaspoon pepper
 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1/4 cup ketchup
 
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook beef and onion over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
 - Stir in remaining ingredients; heat to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 - CROCKPOT version - Place cooked beef and onion in crockpot. Add all the ingredients. Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours. Serve with sour cream and cheese.
