SIMPLE SWEET CORNBREAD

This delicious sweet cornbread is absolutely delicious! It's super moist and fluffy and goes well with a bowl of yummy soup or stew.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8.5 oz) box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (depends on how sweet you like it)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Do not overmix batter. It's okay if the batter has a few lumps in it.
  3. Pour evenly into baking dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not over bake.
  4. Let cool slightly before serving. Best served warm with a little butter and honey.
