Delight kids and adults alike with these cute little pretzel chicks. They are super cute!
Ingredients
- mini pretzel twists
- almond bark or yellow candy melts
- yellow gel food coloring (if using almond bark)
- orange M&M's
- black sprinkles
Instructions
- Lay out the number of pretzels for the number of chicks you want to make.
- Cut the orange m&ms in half for the number of beaks you will need.
- Heat the almond bark or yellow candy melts in the microwave for 1 minute.
- Take it out and stir.
- Continue heating in 30-second increments until it is melted.
- If you are using almond bark, add the food coloring until you reach your desired shade of yellow.
- Put the almond bark or candy melts in a sandwich bag.
- Cut off the tip of the bag.
- Pipe the almond bark or candy melts into the middle of the pretzel.
- Add half an M&M for the beak and one sprinkle for the eye.
- Put them in the refrigerator or leave them on the counter until they have hardened.
