AUNT GAYLE'S TURTLE CANDY

Aunt Gayle is the Mississippi Kween's aunt. She makes a fabulous array of Christmas treats every year. According to the cookbook, this dessert is Caroline's favorite.

Ingredients

• 40 Mini Pretzels
• 40 Rolo Candy (unwrapped)
• 40 Whole Pecans

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place the mini pretzels in an even layer on the cookie sheet.
2. Place one Rolo candy on each pretzel.
3. Bake pretzels for 4 minutes. Be careful not to tilt the cookie sheet forward when placing them in the oven or they will all slide forward knocking the Rolo candy off.
4. As soon as they come of the oven, press a whole pecan onto the Rolo smashing it down. If you press a pecan on and it doesn't smash down and stick to the chocolate, place back in the oven for 1-2 minutes.
5. For a variation you can add almonds or M&M's instead of pecans.
