SIMPLE APPLE CIDER DUMP CAKE
We love Fall and this dessert is the perfect treat on a cool day. You will love how easy it is to make and your family will love it too!
Ingredients
- 2 (20 oz) cans apple pie filling
- 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Drink Mix
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup caramel syrup
- 1 box dry yellow cake mix
- 2 sticks butter, sliced and cut into thin pats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9x13" casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the apple pie filling, cider drink mix, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Pour the apple mixture into the prepared pan and smooth out evenly. Pour the caramel syrup over the apple pie filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the apple mixture. DO NOT STIR. Place pats of butter evenly over the top of the entire dessert.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the edges are bubbly and the cake is golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or cool whip. Enjoy!
