Mama Sue’s Pimento Cheese
There’s nothing quite as good as a yummy pimento cheese sandwich on a hot summer day! This homemade version from Mama Sue’s Southern Kitchen beats all of the store-bought containers that you find in your grocery store. Plus it’s super easy to put together! You will find this recipe in my Volume 2 (Celebrate) cookbook.
PIMENTO CHEESE
Ingredients
- 1 - 8 ounce block of sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 - 8 ounce block of pepper jack cheese
- 1 small jar of pimentos (undrained)
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of Lawry's Seasoned Salt
Instructions
- Grate cheese into a big bowl.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Make it the day before you want to serve.
- If needed you may add more mayonnaise.
