Ingredients

  • 8 oz chocolate almond bark (or melting chocolate)
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Plastic spider rings
  • Wax or parchment paper (for easy cleanup)

Instructions

  1. Lay out a piece of wax or parchment paper on a flat surface. (I used aluminum foil because it's all I had.) Arrange pretzel sticks in a starburst pattern to form the base of the spider web. Make sure each web has 5-6 pretzel sticks meeting at the center.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate almond bark in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until completely smooth.
  3. Using a spoon or an almond bark ziplock filled bag, drizzle the melted chocolate in a circular motion to create a web-like effect. Be generous so the pretzels stick together.
  4. Using a toothpick or sharp knife, pull the chocolate from the center of the web outward, causing the chocolate to look like a spider web.
  5. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your Halloween-themed sprinkles over the webs for a festive look. Cut the ring part off of the spider ring and place in the middle of the web.
  6. Allow the webs to harden at room temperature for 30 minutes, or place them in the refrigerator for faster setting.
