These yummy Valentine truffles are the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate. So easy to make and fun for everyone!
Ingredients
- 1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
- 1 bag (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
- Valentine sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°. Shape cookie dough into 1 1/4" balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes.
- Using your hands, shape each cookie into a ball; refrigerate for 10-15 minutes or until completely cooled.
- Meanwhile, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- In a medium bowl, microwave chocolate chips for 60 to 90 seconds, stirring until completely melted.
- Dip cooled cookie balls into melted chocolate. Place on cookie sheet. Add Valentine sprinkles while chocolate is still warm and melted.
- Refrigerate truffles for about 10 minutes or allow to cool completely on countertop until coating is set.
