Pumpkin Spice Dump Cake
I found this yummy recipe from The Frugal Girls. She has an entire category on her website for dump cakes. Darryl and I had a great time making this yummy pumpkin spice dump cake. It's delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
PUMPKIN SPICE DUMP CAKE
Darryl and I had a great time making this yummy pumpkin spice dump cake. It's delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
- 30 ounces of canned pumpkin
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 3 large eggs (lightly beaten)
- 12 ounces of evaporated milk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 15.25 ounce Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, brown sugar, white sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well.
- Add eggs, and continue mixing until all is combined. Slowly add evaporated milk. Mix well.
- Evenly spread out the pumpkin pie mixture in the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine Duncan Hines Spice Cake and 3/4 cup melted butter. Stir until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the pumpkin layer in a baking dish. Sprinkle pecan pieces on top of the crumble mixture.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center is clean.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
