Nutter Butter Ghost Cookies
These cute cookies are the perfect treat to make with your kiddos for Halloween. With just three ingredients, they make an easy no-fuss dessert.
Ingredients
- 12 oz vanilla candy coating, cut into pieces (I use Walmart's Great Value Almond Bark)
- 1 (1 lb) package Nutter Butter cookies
- 64 miniature chocolate chips ( 4 teaspoons)
Instructions
- Place broken almond bark in microwavable bowl.
- Microwave almond bark for 1 minute.
- Remove almond bark from microwave and stir.
- Microwave 1 more minute or until almond bark is completely melted.
- Stir until almond bark is smooth.
- Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper or put wax paper under wire cooling racks.
- Dip entire cookie into melted almond bark, letting excess drip off. (I use a fork pushed into the Nutter Butter filling between the two cookies)
- Lay flat on wax paper or wire cooling rack.
- Place 2 chocolate chips in coating to form eyes.
- Let stand about 10 minutes until set.
- FOR BANDAGES- I cut a small corner out of a ziploc bag and put about 3 tablespoons melted almond bark in bag. I drizzled the almond bark over each cookie in a criss-cross pattern.
