ITALIAN SAUSAGE PASTA
This dish is rich, creamy, and bursting with bold, comforting flavors. It's an easy, satisfying meal that will quickly become a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz) package of bow tie pasta
- 16 oz Jimmy Dean Italian sausage
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 cloves minced garlic or 3 tablespoons jarlic
- 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1/1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
- In a large skillet, cook sausage and red pepper flakes until sausage is evenly brown. Stir in onion and garlic and cook until onion is tender.
- Stir in tomatoes, cream and salt. Simmer until mixture thickens, 8to 10 minutes.
- Stir cooked pasta into sauce and heat through.
