Grandma Ambs’ Chocolate Fudge
There is just something about fudge that brings back childhood memories. You can make it with or without nuts, but I used pecans from Tanner’s Pecans.

GRANDMA AMBS' CHOCOLATE FUDGE
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup marshmallow cream
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, optional
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line an 8x8 pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat combine the first five ingredients. Bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and pour in chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into prepared pan. Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares.
- Store in an air-tight container.
