Aunt Lanette’s Crockpot Chicken
This is always a family favorite! The fact that you can cook it in your slow cooker makes it a winner every time!
Aunt Lannette's Crock Pot Chicken
This is one of my favorite chicken recipes from my sweet Aunt Lannette. It's so easy to make and delicious too.
Ingredients
- 4 large boneless chicken breasts, fresh or frozen
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 envelope dry Italian seasoning mix
- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1/2 stick butter, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Place chicken in the slow cooker.
- Whisk together chicken broth, soup, and Italian seasoning mix in a bowl. Pour over chicken.
- Add butter and cream cheese.
- Cover crockpot and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
- Before serving shred the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve over hot steamed rice or mashed potatoes. I used Microwave Steamed Rice from Ben's Complete.
