SUGAR WAFER PENCILS
These super easy treats are perfect for back to school!
Ingredients
- 1 pkg of Vanilla Creme Wafers (I found mine at Publix. I looked other places but the wafer color was more realistic with the Publix brand.)
- 4 squares of Almond Bark
- Mini chocolate chip morsels
- Red Food Coloring
Instructions
- Take the wafers and cut two small diagonal lines out of one side, to make the point of the pencil.
- In a small, microwavable bowl, place 2 squares of the almond bark. Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir. Add 3 drops of red food coloring. Stir. This will be the eraser part.
- In another small, microwavable bowl, place 2 more squares of almond bark. Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir.
- Dip the flat side of the wafer into the pink pencil chocolate to make the eraser.
- Next, dip the pointed side into the white chocolate bowl to make the pencil point.
- Place on wax paper to dry.
- Immediately add one mini chocolate chip to the point to make the pencil lead.
- Let dry. Enjoy!
Notes
These are perfect to celebrate back to school with the kids and grandkids. They would also make great 1st day of school treats for teachers.
