RED, WHITE & BLUE SHORTCAKE STARS
Bring out the patriot in you with these adorable shortcake treats. Perfect for the the 4th of July!
Ingredients
- 6 cups strawberries, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups blueberries
- Pillsbury Refrigerated Blueberry Biscuits (8 count)
- Cool Whip for topping
Instructions
- Mix strawberries and 1 1/2 cups sugar. Let stand 1 hour.
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Remove biscuits from can and flatten them a little with your hand.
- Cut with floured 3-inch star-shaped or round cutter. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Stir blueberries into strawberries. Split biscuits in half while hot. Fill and top with berries and whipped cream.
