Mom’s Apple Crisp

Nothing beats a homemade apple pie, but when you are short on time (or energy), you must try my mom’s Apple Crisp. It’s so good!

MOM'S APPLE CRISP

Ingredients

  • 5 medium-sized apples, diced
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 stick of butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Place the apples in an 8 x 8" baking dish.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, use a pastry blender to combine the rest of the ingredients until they are crumbly.
  4. Add to the top of the apples.
  5. Bake for 40 -50 minutes.
  6. Serve with ice cream!
