FRESH STRAWBERRY DUMP CAKE
This yummy dump cake is perfect for strawberry season! You can find the recipe in the Dump Cooking Cookbook.
Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh strawberries (you can use frozen, but I prefer fresh)
- 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Spray a 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray.
- Wash and dry the strawberries. Hull and slice them.
- Place berries in the baking dish and sprinkle with dry jello mix.
- Sprinkle yellow cake mix over the top of the strawberries.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
- Pour the water over the top of the cake mix. DO NOT STIR!
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
