EASY WINTER FRUIT SALAD
I love this fresh winter salad. The flavor is amazing and the color of the salad is so pretty. You will love it!
Ingredients
FRUIT
- * Fruit is adaptable. You can use whatever fruit is in season and what you prefer. You will just want 5 to 6 cups of fruit.
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup peeled and diced kiwi fruit
- 1 cup fresh naval orange segments (or you can use mandarin oranges, drained)
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 cup diced pears
- 1 cup halved grapes
DRESSING
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- Light pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Place the fruit in a serving bowl. (If using pears, because they sometimes darken faster than apples, toss them with a light squeeze of lemon juice before adding to the salad.)
- Whisk together the dressing ingredients and pour over the fruit and toss to combine.
- The fruit salad can be made a couple of hours ahead of time - keep in mind that depending on the type of fruit that is used, the colors may seep into each other as the salad sits.
