EASY WINTER FRUIT SALAD

I love this fresh winter salad. The flavor is amazing and the color of the salad is so pretty. You will love it!

Ingredients

FRUIT
  • * Fruit is adaptable. You can use whatever fruit is in season and what you prefer. You will just want 5 to 6 cups of fruit.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup peeled and diced kiwi fruit
  • 1 cup fresh naval orange segments (or you can use mandarin oranges, drained)
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 cup diced pears
  • 1 cup halved grapes
DRESSING
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • Light pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place the fruit in a serving bowl. (If using pears, because they sometimes darken faster than apples, toss them with a light squeeze of lemon juice before adding to the salad.)
  2. Whisk together the dressing ingredients and pour over the fruit and toss to combine.
  3. The fruit salad can be made a couple of hours ahead of time - keep in mind that depending on the type of fruit that is used, the colors may seep into each other as the salad sits.
